If absolutely LOVE (or like) trains, then come out to one of these train events..you won't regret it.

Do you have a locomotive and riding cars but you don't have any place to run it? Come to a run day so you can run it! Just call the club president at the Kern County Live Steamers for more info! Contact information on their webpage.

Got a kid who loves trains? Bring him or her to these events. In fact, bring the whole family!

August 18: The Kern County Live Steamers is having their public run day @ Murray Family Farms out on Highway-58 and General Beale Rd. Cost to ride train: $2 (per rider) from 10 am-2 pm. Check out their website www.kclivesteamers.com

June 30th: The Kern County Live Steamers is having their first annual mini-meet and Golden Spike Ceremony. There will be a Tri-tip BBQ for $8 per person. This event is only open to LIVE STEAMERS and their families. The ceremony will be @ 10 a.m. For those who are bringing trains, there is LIMITED siding space available.
